  • Who are we?

    We are JABC—Just Another Button Company, based in Troy, IL, USA. We’re a team of twelve talented women focused on quality handmade products and excellent customer service. Our goal is to make the perfect buttons for your creative projects!

  • How are your buttons made?

    All of our polymer clay buttons are handmade by us. Each button has a story—if you ask who made your button, we can tell you who mixed the clay, built and sliced the cane, and drilled the holes. We use simple tools like food processors, pasta rollers, toaster ovens, and Dremel drills—no heavy machinery involved.  We also buy molded buttons and custom dye them to complement the clay buttons.

  • What clay do you use?

    We work with Cernit, a premium polymer clay brand from Europe, known for its strength and flexibility. Using about 20 base colors, we custom mix to create hundreds of unique shades. Every button has its own "recipe card" to ensure consistency.

  • Do you have a physical store?

    We don’t have a walk-in store, but we strive to offer a delightful shopping experience online.

  • Can retailers purchase wholesale?

    Yes! Independent needlework shops are welcome to inquire about wholesale purchases. Feel free to reach out to us for more details.

  • Are your buttons washable?

    Our buttons are designed for embellishment rather than closures, but they are washable. We recommend air drying and avoiding exposure to high heat like ironing or machine drying.

  • How do I sew on your buttons?

    Our buttons have small, precise holes. Use a sharp needle—such as a quilting needle—to attach them.

  • What is your shipping policy?

Our orders are processed Monday-Friday, normally within 2 days of receipt. After a sales promotion, it is possible that order fulfillment will take up to a week.

You receive an order confirmation at time of payment, and except for subscription products, you will also receive a shipping notification.  Orders are shipped through the US Postal Service.  Flat rate shipping charges are based on the order total.  Rates are shown when you checkout.

If your order contains an out-of-stock product (we try not to let this happen), you will be notified right away and asked if we should hold your order or give you a refund.

Once a package leaves our hands, we are not responsible for shipping delays, lost or stolen packages.  If your tracking shows "delivered" but you haven't received your order, please check with your local post office.  After that, we can try to help. 

If your package is delayed, we ask you to keep watch for 4 weeks.  Yes, that seems like a long time, but lots of packages are delayed these days.  Most end up being delivered if we are patient.  After wating, if your tracking still shows the package hung up en route, we can try to start a search through the USPS Customer Service.

For subscription orders (Button Lover's Club) existing customers can expect an automatic shipment February 1, May 1, August 1 and November 1.  An invoice is emailed on the renewal date.   Flat rate shipping applies.  New subscription customers may be asked if they want an immediate shipment of a club product they have missed.

You can download PDF purchases using a link sent by our website as soon as payment is made.  You have unlimited downloads once you purchase a file.  Please print these documents full size and in color at home.  

  • What is your returns policy?

Unopened, unused products can be returned to Just Another Button Company for refund within 10 days of receipt--not including patterns and charts.  Merchandise must be clean and undamaged. Contact us before returning to confirm eligibity for refund.

Patterns and charts are not returnable due to copyright protection. No refunds can be given on patterns and charts, including PDF downloads.

We are not responsible for refunding postage on returned items unless we've make an error in filling the order.
